This year’s reunion will be held in the Hampton Community Center, 178 Main St. Hampton, CT. The date is Sunday, July 25th 2010.
Many of you know that the Community Center used to be the Little River Grange #36. Some of you may not know that this building was constructed by our forebear, Austin Eugene Pearl and his son, Arthur Eugene Pearl. The Grange Hall was formally dedicated on Jan. 11, 1907. Because of dwindling membership, the Little River Grange Hall was disbanded and, in recent years, the building was turned over to the town of Hampton. It has been beautifully renovated as a Community Center.
It is rather appropriate that we gather for our 71st reunion in this special place to celebrate our family and our history.
